Tips for Starting a Startup Business For Beginners Strengthen Your Intention

Tips for Starting a Startup Business For Beginners Strengthen Your Intention – Currently the startup business is an opportunity for new businessmen and for teenagers who want to find additional money. This business is perfect for all of you who want to increase your pocket money.

Yes, this is commonplace for any type of business. How do you want to run a business if the intention is not 100% full. Therefore, when you are going to start a startup business, make sure you have your intention. From this intention, the seriousness and hopes and dreams of the future will be born. A strong intention will also make your emotions stable when you face certain problems. Sometimes, you just need to remember your intentions when things go wrong.

Create a Business Plan

There can be no running business without a plan. If someone says you can start a business without a plan, just make sure he’s lying. Plans aren’t just what you write on paper with lots of pictures and scribbles. When you think about something about your business, you may well be planning it. Plans don’t have to be extravagant. Pay attention to this, just a simple or simple plan where you can run it optimally. This will be more successful than making grandiose plans but you can not implement them.
Make sure the product is needed by many people

This is also an important step when you are starting a startup business. Do not let after making careful planning about marketing and others, you forget that the product you offer is not in demand by the market. Indeed, unique and creative ideas can generate many markets. But, keep in mind that not always something unique and creative will get a good response from customers. Just think of products that are liked by the market and various circles

Find a Work Partner

The adage says, if one head can generate 10 fresh ideas, imagine if there are 10 heads, then 100 fresh ideas will be born. Certainly, when the contents of that head all work. This means that you need a team that is solid and understands both your feelings and thoughts. A team that has the same ideas and always fits in is not necessarily the team you are looking for. When your team always offers the same thing, it’s the same thing that doesn’t work. Look for partners or work teams who can come up with fresh and different or varied ideas.

Don’t be easily satisfied

Granted, success achieved in such a short time will easily satisfy you. Watch Out! when you feel satisfied, then you want to keep it. As a result, you will worry too much when there are new ideas. This means that you will stop innovating because you are satisfied with what you have. This is dangerous. Innovation is always needed because the target market is always developing too.

Those are some tips you can do to start a startup business. If you ask, what about capital? Capital is important, but what is called capital does not have to be money. Now, many prospective entrepreneurs want to use instant loan capital to start their business. The decision is yours whether to start with instant capital or work even harder to raise capital. Remember, capital in the form of money is indeed important, but capital in the form of abilities or skills, networks and so on are also important.

Here are some questions to ask when defining your social media marketing goals:

  • What are you hoping to achieve through social media marketing?
  • Who is your target audience?
  • Where would your target audience hang out and how would they use social media?
  • What message do you want to send to your audience with social media marketing?

Your business type should inform and drive your social media marketing strategy.

For example, an e-commerce or travel business, being highly visual, can get a lot of value from a strong presence on Instagram or Pinterest. A business-to-business or marketing company might find more leverage in Twitter or Linkedin.

Social media marketing can help with a number of goals, such as:

  • Increasing website traffic
  • Building conversions
  • Raising brand awareness

Tips-Starting-Marketing-For-Fresh-Graduate

Tips Starting Marketing For Fresh Graduate – I’ve always envisioned my graduation ceremony to be something grand and exciting. I pictured myself walking onto the stage, in my graduation gown with my family cheering me on. I imagined myself snapping pictures with my friends, bouquets of flowers in hand, tossing our mortar boards in the air – but alas COVID-19 happened and that image quickly became a distant dream.

I’m sure for many of us fresh graduates, the last few months leading up to the last official day of school was totally a blur. I remembered my classes being cancelled and all the events I had planned for my Final Year Project (FYP), being cancelled without warning. What started as so-called #lastsembestsem became a total rollercoaster of fear and uncertainty. But of course, time waits for no one (not even a global pandemic) and just like that, we were graduates. No final hurrahs, no graduation ceremonies, nada.

I felt totally confused being thrust into the adulting world without any form of closure from my 16 years of formal education. All of a sudden, we were expected to look for jobs and somehow have it all together, despite the world literally crumbling before our very eyes.

I had applied for multiple jobs before the outbreak of COVID-19, and while I had received some job offers, over time they started getting fewer and farther between. I had heard horror stories of friends who had secured job offers way beforehand having their job offers rescinded, or others who had almost secured jobs but were suddenly rejected at the final hurdle because companies were freezing their hiring positions. Personally, I had secured a position at Nimble but feared every day that I would also be among one of those who would have their job offers rescinded. Thankfully that didn’t happen and I’m truly grateful to be even given the opportunity to work during this pandemic.

With all that being said, I’m not going to sugarcoat it, during the first few weeks of Circuit Breaker (CB), my mind was all over the place. Fast forward a few months, I think I have now found a routine that I wanted to share that got me through this period. Here are some tips that got me through CB and I think would really help any fresh grads out there feeling defeated or stuck.

TIP 1: UPDATE YOUR RESUME

Yes, I’m sure you are all internally groaning right now, because let’s face it, updating one’s resume is definitely A CHORE. All that aside, there’s really no better time than right now. If you’re starting to apply for jobs, make sure to update your resume to present your latest achievements – don’t shortchange yourself! Even if you have been applying for jobs and are getting rejected, take this time to sit down and relook at what could be improved on.

Is your resume too long? Is it too outdated? Is it not visually appealing? Start by asking yourself these questions. Furthermore, there are so many free resume assessment softwares out there that can help you rate your resume and pick out which specific areas to improve on.

In that same vein, learn to brush up on your cover letter writing skills as well. Quick show of hands if you are guilty of copying and pasting the same text for your cover letter and only changing the company name? Not only is that lazy, there is also a high chance of you forgetting to change the company name before submitting your application (MAJOR NO-NO!).

Plus, you also miss the chance to sincerely point out what attracted you to applying for the role in the first place. Employers are looking for people who will be the best fit for their company, sending a generic cover letter is just not going to cut it. Doing your research and crafting a cover letter unique to that company will definitely make you STAND OUT!

TIP 2: TRAIN YOUR INTERVIEW SKILLS

While resumes and cover letters may get your foot through the door, interviews will get you the JOB! With COVID-19, most interviews are being held online which is a bonus. There’s less worry about meeting your potential employers face to face, or risk turning up late for your interview because you got lost. That being said, don’t be complacent. Learn to familiarise yourself with the video software you are using so that you won’t be fumbling during the actual interview.

Also, make use of the virtual interview setting to your advantage. You can prepare talking points on a document on your screen and refer to those as you speak so that you don’t end up rambling or going off tangent. Think of questions to ask your potential employers at the end of the interview session and prepare answers to commonly asked interview questions.

Another hack is to make use of interview coaches that most schools provide. Even after I’ve graduated, my school still sends us links to book interview sessions with career coaches for free. YES, FREE! Take advantage of all these resources at your fingertips to help you prepare for that job interview.

TIP 3: IT’S OK TAKE A BREAK

While finding a job is important as a fresh graduate, it is also important for you to reward yourself! You’ve just completed 3 or 4 years of university or polytechnic life and that’s something worth celebrating. With the ample amount of free time we have now, take the chance to pick up a new skill you’ve been wanting to try out or simply sleep in a little bit longer. In the 2 months of free time I had before I started work, I managed to cross a lot of the things off my to-do list and it honestly felt really rewarding. Don’t stress yourself out too much with trying to secure a job and end up neglecting your own well-being.

Once you feel recharged and well rested, you can go ahead and resume your job search journey. There is no rush.

With that being said, I hope these tips have been helpful in some way or another. Graduating during a pandemic is definitely no easy feat, but to the Class of 2020, we got this!

Explanation Of The Marketing Strategy

Explanation Of The Marketing Strategy – What Is a Marketing Strategy?, A marketing strategy refers to a business’s overall game plan for reaching prospective consumers and turning them into customers of the products or services the business provides. A marketing strategy contains the company’s value proposition, key brand messaging, data on target customer demographics, and other high-level elements.

Marketing Strategies vs. Marketing Plans

The marketing strategy informs the marketing plan, which is a document that details the specific types of marketing activities a company conducts and contains timetables for rolling out various marketing initiatives.

Marketing strategies should ideally have longer lifespan than individual marketing plans because they contain value propositions and other key elements of a company’s brand, which generally hold consistent over the long haul. In other words, marketing strategies cover big-picture messaging, while marketing plans delineate the logistical details of specific campaigns.

Academics continue to debate the precise meaning of marketing strategy, therefore multiple definitions exist. The following quotes help crystallize the nuances of (modern) marketing strategy:

  • “The sole purpose of marketing is to sell more to more people, more often and at higher prices.” (Sergio Zyman, marketing executive and former Coca-Cola and JC Penney marketer)
  • “Marketing is no longer about the stuff that you make, but about the stories you tell.” (Seth Godin, former business executive, and entrepreneur)
  • “The aim of marketing is to know and understand the customer so well the product or service fits him and sells itself.” (Peter Drucker, credited as founding modern management)
  • “Marketing’s job is never done. It’s about perpetual motion. We must continue to innovate every day. ” (former vice chair and chief marketing officer, GE)
  • “Take two ideas and put them together to make one new idea. After all, what is a Snuggie but the mutation of a blanket and a robe?” (Jim Kukral, speaker and author of “Attention!”)

The Creation of Marketing Strategy

A carefully-cultivated marketing strategy should be fundamentally rooted in a company’s value proposition, which summarizes the competitive advantage a company holds over rival businesses. For example, Walmart is widely known as a discount retailer with “everyday low prices,” whose business operations and marketing efforts revolve around that idea.

Whether it’s a print ad design, mass customization, or a social media campaign, a marketing asset can be judged based on how it effectively communicates a company’s core value proposition. Market research can be helpful in charting the efficacy of a given campaign and can help identify untapped audiences, in order to achieve bottom-line goals and increase sales.

With this knowledge serving our background, let us go over some marketing strategy do’s and don’ts that you should keep in mind.

Marketing Strategies

These are all the essentials that go in a successful marketing strategy. To begin with, you need to be crystal clear on your business objectives, and these should be communicated to all relevant departments. A good marketing strategy is not one where you invest heavily in technology and multimedia (though these are essential components of marketing). Rather, marketing is all about reaching goals.

If the objective is to persuade the client to give you his email address and he doesn’t, then the marketing has failed¸ no matter how expensive or creative it is. This is not to say that marketing isn’t creative and innovative, but what’s the point of being creative if you fail to stick to your goals?

Your goal can be to create a buzz about your product or service (simply letting people know that you are also there in the market), to use this buzz to create sales, or to prompt customers to become evangelists. Of course, no one is stopping your from targeting all three of these goals at once, the best way to tackle marketing is to pursue one, or at most two, marketing goals at a time.

Another thing that you need to remember that marketing has drastically changed in the digital age. Creating advertising campaigns is not enough. Nowadays, your promotion will most likely garner a Google search for your business. Unless you can leverage analytics, SEO, mobile optimization, podcasts, video content, multi-device support, and other related digital apparatus, you will find hard to stay ahead of competition.

Marketing Strategy: Mistakes to Avoid
To close this article, here are three mistakes that you should avoid when drafting your marketing strategy:

1. Striving for a ‘One-Size-Fits-All’ Approach
This is perhaps the greatest mistake businesses make when implementing a marketing strategy. As mentioned multiple times in the article, the business that fails to recognize market dynamics and adapt its marketing strategy to meet market changes is setting itself for failure.

2. Putting All Eggs in One Basket
Unless you have clear-cut data on your hands to back your marketing decision, you should be careful to spend all your advertising dollars on one or two promotional items (like tradeshows and direct mail). For the most part, your marketing budget should try to incorporate as many channels are possible (email, podcasts, print ads, and marketing etc.).

3. Failure to Track Results
Finally, remember that marketing is only measured by results. When you execute promotional campaigns but fail to track results, you will never be able to spot weakness and hence, there will be no improvement. Marketing is an organic process and closely follows the scientific mindset of trial and error. You find out what works and shun the rest. In the future, all investment follows the strategy that works, and hence you get to save money in the long run.

Hopefully this overview would help you familiarize with all aspects of a successful marketing strategy.

2. Invite Close Friends and Family to Enliven the Place of Business
One of the things that makes business soar quickly is the apparent enthusiasm of consumers to buy products that are being sold. Conversely, if a businessman is able to find a way to impress his business with a lot of visitors, success is sure to come sooner or later.

For this reason, when you are in the early phases of business development, don’t hesitate to teach relationships to come to the place of business. If necessary, offer attractive discounts so that friends or family are willing to stop by and buy products that are being sold. That way, the place of business will appear to have a lot of customers and make people curious about the products being sold.

If open house activities by inviting influencers are considered too risky for the financial condition of the business, the business owner can hire local musicians. Recently, many cafes have also used local stand up comedy communities to appear to enliven businesses.

By providing live music events and so on, business places that are being developed will have more loyal customers. The potential to get big profits will be more widely opened.

For culinary and fashion business owners, this one marketing strategy is a must-try. By participating in a bazaar or exhibition, business people will have a greater opportunity to be able to introduce a business brand that is being pioneered.

However, keep in mind that when registering a brand at a bazaar or exhibition, there are dozens, or even hundreds of other brands that also have the same goal. Therefore, create a booth in such a way as to make it stand out from the other booths.

In addition, try to choose bazaars and exhibitions that have a theme that is in line with the products being sold. For example, you might not offer kids clothes at a rock concert. For that, look for references to exhibitions or bazaars that can be used as a bridge between consumers and products being sold.

5. Contribute to Charity Events so that a Positive Brand Grows

The activists often do charity activities to help people in need, for example, victims of natural disasters
